Acid Oil Plant/ Soap Stock Splitting Manufacturer
Soap Stock is fed into the Acid Oil Plant, which is made of high-grade components to prevent corrosion. The Soap Stock is added to the reaction vessel and heated to 90 to 95 degrees Celsius. Sulfuric Acid or a similar chemical is added to the soap stock, and the reaction is allowed to complete for 10 minutes before boiling for many hours to allow the acid oil to split. After that, the mixture is allowed to settle for a few hours.
The result of this process is the formation of three different layers: acidic oil, acidic mud and acidic water. The third and final layer, i. H. Sour oil is pumped into the storage tank.
Next, the acidic water is treated with wash water, which lowers the pH of the acidic water. The resulting mixture is sent to a wastewater treatment plant to complete the acid oil plant process.
