Vertical Pressure Leaf Filter

In Vertical Pressure leaf filter the conical tank is constructed in carbon steel, and the filter elements are in stainless steel. The filter elements are of 5-layer construction with filter screen made of 24 x 110 meshes, Hollander wave. The filter leafs are vertically mounted inside on a common manifold pipe, through which the filtered liquid flows out. The vessel has provision to blow steam for drying. The vessel also is provided with pneumatically operated butterfly valve and pneumatic vibrator for discharge of cake.
